전상열 대표는 연세대학교 사회학을 졸업하였고, 현 네이버인 NHN에 입사하여 NHN Business Platform 마케팅전략본부를 거친 뒤, 앱디스코 사업총괄 실장과 스마일게이트 플랫폼 전략 팀장을 역임한 뒤, 현재는 나우버스킹 대표이다. 2015년에는 대한민국온라인광고제 스타트업대상에서 인터넷 진흥원장상을 받았고, 2016년에는 스마트미디어 대전 대상에서 미래부장관상을 받았고, K-GLOBAL 300대 기업에도 선정이 되었다. 또한, 2019년에는 인터넷 대상 사회공헌부분 수상을 하였다.

김기환

메디히어 대표

김기환 대표는 미국과 한국에서 원격진료 중심의 Medical Concierge 멤버쉽 서비스를 제공하는 스타트업, 메디히어의 공동창업자이자 대표이다. 그는 16년도부터 가치있는 기업을 세워 존경받는 사람이 되자라는 미션과 IT기술로 의사와 환자를 효율적으로 연결하여 의료정보 불균형을 해소하고, 의료산업을 혁신시키는 것의 비젼을 바탕으로 메디히어를 운영하고 있다. 메디히어는 한국에서 최초로 원격진료 플랫폼을 서비스하고 있으며, 미국에서는 뉴욕주를 중심으로 원격진료 멤버십 서비스를 확대해 나가고 있다. 그는 창업 이전에 SK Hynix의 Global Sales & Marketing(해외 영업마케팅 부문)에서 전략마케팅, 기술마케팅, 브랜드마케팅 업무를 하였으며, 한양대학교 물리학 학사학위를 취득하였다.

김요섭

우아한 형제들 로봇사업실 이사

김요섭 이사는 현재 우아한형제들 로봇사업실 실장으로 재직중이며 이 전엔 우아한 형제들 배민서비스 개발실 실장으로 역임하였다. 또, 이 전에는 SK플래닛 글로벌플랫폼 개발팀 팀장으로도 역임하였을 뿐만 아니라, 위메프 플랫폼개발실 실장, 앱디스코 CTO, 야후코리아 마켓플레이스(e) 파트장으로 역임한 이력이 있다.

김인순

더밀크 코리아 대표

김인순 더밀크 코리아 대표는 20년간 ICT분야 기자로 일했다. 전자신문 ICT융합부 데스크 출신으로 보안·소프트웨어 분야를 전문으로 취재한 베테랑 기자다. 2008년 중국의 한글공정 내용을 보도해 기자협회 이달의 기자상을 수상했다. 2014년에는 한국수력원자력 도면 해킹 사건을 단독 보도하고 사이버 위협의 중요성을 일깨우는 기사로 기자협회 이달의 기자상을 수상했다. 나노기술 연구 현장을 전달한 ‘나노브랜딩 시대’와 실리콘밸리 혁신 기업들을 취재한 책 ‘파괴자들 ANTI의 역습‘을 출간했다.

서범석

루닛 대표

서범석 대표는 대표이사로서 회사 경영을 총괄하며, 루닛의 인공지능 기술을 제품화하여 전세계적으로 실제 환자 진료에 이바지 할 수 있도록 최선을 다하고 있습니다.
KAIST 생명과학과를 거쳐 서울대학교 의과대학을 졸업하고, 서울대학교병원에서 수련을 마친 가정의학과 전문의입니다. 보건학 석사와 MBA를 취득하였고, 풍부한 연구 경험을 바탕으로 Hepatology, Annals of Oncology 등 저명한 국제학술지에 30편 이상의 논문을 게재한 바 있습니다.

윤태식

기획재정부 정책조정국장

윤태식 국장은 2009년 기획재정부 대외경제국 통상정책과장을 거쳐 기획재정부 국제금융정책국 외화자금과장, 국제금융정책국 국제금융 과장, 개발금융국장(직무대리), 기획재정부 대변인을 거친 뒤, 기획재정부 국제금융국장을 역임하였고, 현재는 기획재정부 정책조정국장을 맡고 있다.

이승준

어메이즈VR 대표

이승준 대표는 서울 과학고를 졸업하고 카이스트 생명과학과/산업공학과를 졸업 한 뒤, A.T.Kearney에서 경영전략 컨설턴트를 역임하고, 2011년에는 Bain&Company에서 경영전략 컨설턴트를 역임하였다. 또한 2012년~2015년에는 카카오 전략지원팀장 및 신규사업 TF장을 역임하였으며, 다음과 카카오 합병 시, PM 역할을 맡았다. 이후 2015년에는 AmazeVR을 미국 실리콘밸리에서 창업하였고, 현재는 한국에 지사를 설립 중에 있다.

He majored in Biological Sciences at Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) and graduated Seoul National University College of Medicine. Then he worked as a resident at Seoul National University Hospital and became a specialist in Family Medicine. He earned a bachelor’s degree in public health and MBA. Based on his extensive research experience, he has published over 30 articles in several distinguished international academic journals such as Hepatology and Annals of Oncology.

Taesik Yoon

Steve Lee

Steve Lee graduated Seoul Science High School and received a degree in Biological Science / Industrial & Systems Engineering at Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). Sang Yeol Jeon

Sang Yeol Jeon earned a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Yonsei University and joined NHN (now Naver), working for Marketing Strategy Department at NHN Business Platform. Arvind Gupta is the Head and Co-Founder of Digital India Foundation, a policy think tank working in areas of Digital Inclusion, Smart Cities, Internet Governance, Data Privacy & Cyber Security, Electronics Manufacturing. He is an Adjunct Professor at IIT-BHU, teaching “Data and Digital Economy”.

He has over 27 years of industry experience, having worked in diverse sectors in variety of leadership, policy and entrepreneurial profiles in India and Silicon Valley, USA. He has considerable experience in Consumer Internet, Digital Media, Payment Systems, Analytics and Data Economy. He has been on the Global FinTech Top100 list of Influencers and also the Member of World Economic Forum’s Global Futures Council on Digital Economy & Society, OECD Expert Member of Global Value Chains. He has been awarded the Eisenhower Global Fellowship for Innovation for year 2014. He has been awarded the DataQuest Pathbreaker of the year award and Distinguished Centenary Alumni award from IIT-BHU.
In his last role, he was the CEO of MyGov, an initiative of the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, to Empower Citizens of India with Participative Governance and Digitally communicate Schemes and Policies to all Indians.

He led the Digital, Social Media and Communication Campaign for PM Narendra Modi, which resulted in PM Modi creating electoral history and achieving its Mission 272+ in 2014 Elections.

He is Member of Founder’s Circle of iSPiRT, which has worked extensively on the “IndiaStack”. He is one of the thought leaders in implementing DBT throughout India. He is an active member of TiE, NASSCOM and Founder Member of iSPiRT. He also co-founded startups such as amplify.ai, ApnaPay, Ideaswall amongst others. Mr. Gupta is also a frequent speaker at various industry and Global forums. He is visiting faculty at IIT, Management Schools, Innovation Forums and has published many articles on #DigitalEconomy, Value of Data, #GovTech in leading papers of India, Harvard Business Review and World Economic Forum

Christos Makridis

Christos A. Makridis is a computational social scientist, policy adviser, and entrepreneur with dual doctorates from Stanford University in Economics and Management Science & Engineering. His academic research is concentrated in the intersection of the digital economy, labor markets, and human flourishing with a special focus on understanding how individuals accumulate skills over their careers and the effects of policies on the incentives to learn. In addition to his academic research, Christos publishes frequently in the media, including Fox News, Real Clear Policy, The Hill, Quillette, and writes a column for Forbes. Christos has served on the White House Council of Economic Advisers and currently serves as a Senior Research Adviser for the National Artificial Intelligence Institute in the Department of Veterans Affairs, a Research Professor at Arizona State University, a Senior Adviser at Gallup, a Digital Fellow in the Initiative on the Digital Economy at the MIT Sloan School of Management, a Non-resident Fellow in the Institute for Religious Studies at Baylor University, and a Visiting Fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies.

Peter Diamandis

Recently named by Fortune as one of the “World’s 50 Greatest Leaders,” Peter Diamandis is the founder and executive chairman of the XPRIZE Foundation, which leads the world in designing and operating large-scale incentive competitions. He is also the executive founder of Singularity University, a graduate-level Silicon Valley institution that counsels the world’s leaders on exponentially growing technologies.
As an entrepreneur, Diamandis has started over 20 companies in the areas of longevity, space, venture capital and education. He is also cofounder of BOLD Capital Partners, a venture fund with $250M investing in exponential technologies.
Diamandis is a New York Times Bestselling author of two books: Abundance – The Future Is Better Than You Think and BOLD – How to go Big, Create Wealth & Impact the World. His newest book in this series of exponential technologies—The Future is Faster Than You Think—which was released in January 2020.
He earned degrees in molecular genetics and aerospace engineering from the MIT and holds an M.D. from Harvard Medical School.

Sameer Pujari

Currently with WHO, Sameer is working with the newly established Department of Digital health and Innovations helping the creation of the department and the development of Global Digital Health Strategy and Action Plan. He is also one of the co-creators of the Be He@lthy Be Mobile initiative which is flagship WHO and ITU joint program on use of mobile health for scale. Most recently the Be He@lthy Be Mobile team was coveted with the DG’s Reward for excellence for 2016 and the Greenpeace Innovations Award in 2018. With WHO since 2008, he has also provided technical advise and support to over 50 countries in the development of digital health and information system programs. Sameer is currently the Vice-Chair of the WHO ITU Focus group on AI for health which is creating benchmarking for AI solutions for health. In addition he is also a core member of the Health Data Forum at WHO. With regards to the Covid response, WHO is co-leading the tech4covid on citizen and community engagement track from WHO. Sameer has worked to support more than 50 countries build information and digital health systems and solutions over the past 20 years.
Before coming to WHO, he worked with the US Governments health agency helping various countries build informatics systems for immunization and vaccination programs in Asia Europe and Africa. He started his career working with WHO’s National Polio Surveillance Project in India for 7 years, where he led the development and implementation of various information management systems for surveillance across the country.
He holds bachelor degrees in business and software engineering and a master’s degree with a gold medal in management, he also has an earned fellowship in public health informatics from the US government health and human services and has delivered at various forums and published several articles on digital health and frugal innovation.

Petri Myllymäki is a professor of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at the Department of Computer Science of University of Helsinki, Finland. He is also the Director of the Helsinki Institute for Information Technology (HIIT), the vice-Director of the Finnish Center for Artificial Intelligence (FCAI), and the Director of the Helsinki Doctoral Education Network in ICT (HICT). Prof. Myllymäki has over 30 years of experience in artificial intelligence research. He has been an editorial board member, program chair, committee member and reviewer for numerous international scientific journals, conferences and organizations, and he has published over 150 scientific articles in his research area. Jinha Lee is a designer and engineer from the Republic of Korea. Lee is the co-founder and chief product officer of Spatial, which developed a leading VR/AR collaboration platform. He demonstrated Spatial’s technology while featuring as a hologram during Microsoft CEO’s keynote address during the unveiling of HoloLens2. Spatial received 27 billion won investment from Uber, Instagram’s founder, and Samsung NEXT, and currently is used for remote collaboration by many Fortune 1000 companies including Mattel, Nestle, etc. Recently, Spatial attracted a lot of attention by opening up – for free of charge- its platform to global users working at home due to Covid-19 pandemic.
While at MIT Media Lab, recognized for his invention SpaceTop, a gesture-controlled 3D computer that allows a user to reach inside the scree and ZeroN, a tangible computer pixel, Lee was invited and presented them at TED. At Samsung Electronics, Lee established an interaction group and led a research on UI with a goal to transform a TV screen into a Lifestyle Device providing experiences on collaboration, data and art. He was the youngest principle researcher/group leader at the age of 27. During his MIT years, Lee co-designed The Bradley timepiece for the visually impaired, which was selected as one of the most successful design projects in Kickstarter.

Naomi Lee is a Senior Executive Editor at The Lancet. Naomi handles peer review and commissioning across a broad range of subjects including her specialist areas of surgery, digital medicine/AI, and medical technology. Jieun Choi is a South Korean economist and politician. Throughout her career working with governments, international organizations, and private sectors, she has advised the policy makers of 30+countries in Asia, Europe and Africa. Currently, she advises on the government’s economic policies as a Commissioner of the Presidential Commission on Policy Planning, and teaches at Seoul National University’s Graduate School of International Studies as a Visiting Professor. Previously, she worked as a senior economist at the World Bank and African development Bank, advising and supporting the policy makers, from the highest level, from fragile states to high-income economies in multiple regions, on policies and projects to boost trade, growth, jobs and inclusion. Cathy O’Neil is the author of the New York Times best-selling Weapons of Math Destruction: How Big Data Increases Inequality and Threatens Democracy, which was also a semifinalist for the National Book Award. She is a columnist for Bloomberg Opinion and founded the company ORCAA, an algorithmic auditing company. O’Neil was tapped to appear as a professional in her field in The Social Dilemma, a critically-acclaimed film that explores the dangers of social networking.

She earned a Ph.D. in math from Harvard, was a postdoctoral fellow in the MIT math department, and was a professor at Barnard College where she published a number of research papers in arithmetic algebraic geometry. She then switched over to the private sector, working as a quantitative analyst for the hedge fund, D.E. Shaw, in the middle of the credit crisis, and then for RiskMetrics, a risk software company that assesses risk for the holdings of hedge funds and banks. She left finance in 2011 and started working as a data scientist in the New York start-up scene, building models that predicted people’s purchases and clicks.

As CEO of Dazayo, he is in charge of strategies, concepts, and designs for the use of empty spaces, Since 2019, he has faced government regulations with the accommodation model of farming and fishing villages, giving an impact on the improvement of the new system for a year and three months. 류제명은 2022년 8월부터 대통령직속 디지털플랫폼정부위원회 디지털플랫폼정부추진단장으로 일하고 있다. 류단장은 1997년 정보통신부에서 공직 생활을 시작한 이래 방송통신위원회, 미래창조과학부, 과학기술정보통신부에서 지난 25년 동안 SW, 통신, 전파, 인공지능 등 ICT 분야 정책전문가로 일하면서 국내 이동통신요금제를 데이터중심요금제로 개편하고, 세계 최초로 5G 주파수 경매를 성공적으로 마무리하는 등 핵심 ICT 정책들을 주도해 왔다. 정보통신부에서는 재정팀장, 전파산업팀장을, 미래창조과학부에서는 법무담당관, 통신이용제도과장, 소프트웨어정책과장, 과학기술정보통신부에서는 전파정책국장, 정보통신산업정책관, 인공지능기반정책관을 역임하였다.

류제명은 또한 국제무대에서도 ICT 정책전문가로 활발한 활동을 해 왔다. 2009년부터2012년까지 OECD 대표부에서 방송통신참사관으로 일하면서 OECD 정보사회지표작업반, 통신인프라 및 서비스작업반 부의장으로 의장단에서 활동을 하였다. 또한 2018~2021년 세계은행 선임디지털정책전문가로 일하면서 세계은행내 5G업무 총괄로서 플래그쉽 보고서 작성, 개발도상국 정책자문, 세계은행 내부 직원훈련 등에 핵심적인 역할을 하였다.

Jemyung Ryu

Mr. Je Myung Ryu is serving as the Head of the Secretariat of the Presidential Committee on the Digital Platform Government of Korea as of August 22, 2022. He has been in charge of the AI policy at the Korean Ministry of Science and ICT(MSIT) as Director-General of the AI policy bureau. He has served as Director General of Radio Policy Bureau at the Korean Ministry of Science and ICT(MSIT), where he was in charge of 5G spectrum auction, digital switchover, and general spectrum management. He also served as Director of Telecommunications Service Policy Division.
During his 25 years of career in the government, Mr. Ryu acquired wide-ranging expertise in the field of ICT policy by working at the Ministry of Information and Communication (MIC), the Korea Communications Commission (KCC), President’s Office and at the MSIT. Mr. Ryu also played an active role in international affairs. He joined WB as a Senior Digital Development Specialist, where he led the WB flagship report on 5G. He worked as Counsellor at the Permanent Delegation of Korea to the OECD and had served as a bureau member of the OECD Working Party on Indicators for the Information Society and the Working Party on the Communications Infrastructure and Service Policy.
He earned a Master’s degree in information systems management from Carnegie Mellon University, and a B.A. in Politics from Seoul National University.

Nava specialises in, defining Strategy, Digital Innovation, Leadership, Digital Transformation, Enterprise Architecture, Cyber Security, Technical Delivery, Budget and Stakeholder Management.

엄석진

서울대학교 행정대학원 교수

서울대학교 행정대학원 교수이다. 서울대학교에서 행정학박사를 취득하고 정부의 디지털혁신, 정부의 소셜미디어 활용, 스마트폰을 활용한 모바일정부에 대해 연구해 왔다. 연구성과를 담은 다수의 학술논문을 주요 국제 학술지에 게재하였으며, 최근에는 [정부의 디지털 혁신](2020), [AI와 미래행정](2021) 등의 도서를 발간하였다. 아울러, 디지털 정부와 관련된 국제학술대회 중 하나인 dg.o 2020에서 프로그램위원회 위원장을 맡아 활동하였다. 최근의 연구주제는 디지털시대의 전자 거버넌스, 정부의 디지털 혁신과 함께 한국의 데이터 정책이다

Seokjin Eom

Prof of Graduate School of Public Administration, Seoul National University

Seok-Jin Eom is a professor in Graduate School of Public Administration at Seoul National University, Republic of Korea. He received his Ph.D. in public administration from Seoul National University. He has published many papers about digital government, social media use in government, and smartphone-based public services in prestigious academic journals. He also published and edited books on digital government transformation, including Digital Transformation of Government (2020) and AI and Future Administration (2021). Dr. Eom served as a lead-program chair for dg.o 2020, one of the most famous international conferences on digital government. His current research interests include the evolution of e-governance in the digital era, the digital transformation of government as well as data policy in Korea.

He is the CEO of Mycroft, and he directly plans and oversees all specific screen designs and user scenarios from the initial ideas. He started his business in his 20s as a serial entrepreneur. In the early days, it focused on offline business, and starting with space business, it built and operated a planned wedding hall that had not existed before to create a representative house wedding venue in Korea. From his 30s, he moved to an online business with no limitations in planning, operated a web agency that mainly planned and developed web services of large companies, and established the fourth company, Microsoft, in 2019.

During his Master in Landscape Architecture program in Harvard Graduate School of Design, Jungrok identified tree data problem in global landscape industry. Jungrok, CEO of ROOTRIX, found his company to lead the analog and technically under developed landscape industry to innovation through digital transformation.
First ROOTRIX gathered under the mission to innovate tree data market in Aug, 2021 and found the company on Nov, 2021. In one month ROOTRIX got into final 12 companies in a startup audition program “Unicorn House,” and with more than 100 industry leaders’ feedbacks we have developed our first pretotype and finalized the seed investment just in 2 months. After, ROOTRIX was selected to TIPS research in May, 2022 and approved of our tree data collecting and processing technology, among many other programs. Seongmin Jeon, president of the Korean Society of Business Venturing, is a professor of business administration at Gachon University, and serves as an outside director of the Yoonmin Creative Investment Foundation, an economic expert monitor member of the Korea Development Institute (KDI), an expert advisory for Game Self-governance Organization of Korea, and an advisory professor for the Startup Alliance. He received his PhD from Seoul National University’s Graduate School of Business, having participated in numerous IT projects at IBM and Samsung. 이재섭

국제전기통신연합(ITU) 前 총국장

이재섭 박사는 2015년부터 2022년까지 8년동안 ICT 개발을 담당하는 UN 특별 기구인 국제전기통신연합에서 선출직 공무원으로 일하였다. 그는 ITU에서 ICT 기술 표준 개발을 담당하는 표준화 총국 (TSB)의 총국장으로서 ICT 표준 개발을 주관하였다.

그는 1987년 이후 지금까지 35년동안 각종 ICT 기술 표준 개발에 기여하여 왔다. 예를 들어 각종 통신망으로 대변되는 ICT 인프라 구축 기술, 서비스 및 응용 기술 (예: IPTV, 멀티미디어 코덱 등), 사물인터넷 (IoTs), 클라우드, 인공지능 및 Machine Learning 분야 등 ITU의 표준화 총국장으로 재직하는 동안 여러 새로운 주제들을 이끌어 많은 산업체의 참여 확산은 물론 정책과 규제에 필요한 기반을 마련하는데 기여하기도 하였다. 총국장으로서 이끈 주요 주제로서는 “AI for Good summit (40여개 UN 기구들과 민간이 참여하는 AI summit)”, Smart Sustainable City and Communities, DFS/DFC (Digital Financial Service/Digital Fiat Currency), Quantum based networks/security 등이 있다. 또한 그는 총국장으로 재직하며 “ICT 기반의 혁신과 디지털 전환(Transformation)”을 강조하여, 특히 장애인, 개발도상국 및 후진국의 발전을 위하여 필요한 기술 개발은 물론, 정책 및 규제 논의를 위해 기여하였다.

이재섭 박사는 한국에서는 KT 연구원, ETRI / KAIST 연구원을 지냈으며 과기정통부의 자문 역을 수행하기도 하였다.

한국과학기술원 김재철AI대학원 부교수 / 인이지 대표이사

최재식 교수는 서울대 컴퓨터공학과를 졸업하고, 미국 일리노이대 어바나-샴페인 컴퓨터학 석·박사 학위를 취득했다.
울산과학기술원(UNIST) 연구팀과 함께 개발한 인공지능 모델은 ‘포스코 스마트고로’에 적용되어 딥러닝 기술로는 국내 최초로 2019년 국가핵심기술과 세계경제포럼(WEF)에 선정되었다. 국내 AI 기술 발전에 기여한 공로를 인정받아, 국무총리 표창을 수여받았으며, 인이지라는 인공지능 전문회사를 설립하였다.
이밖에도 최근 10년간 JCR 상위10% 5편 포함 12편을 발표하였으며, 인공지능 분야 최고수준 AI 학회에 24편을 발표하였다.

김구환 대표는 그리드위즈의 CEO이자 Founder이다. 2013년 그리드위즈를 창립하기 전 그는 일진전기의 전략기획실, Wiznet Technology 미국지사에서 대표이사로 근무하며 국내외 기술 전문가로서의 경력을 쌓아왔다. 25년간의 에너지산업 경험을 통해 경영 전문가로서 그리드위즈를 이끌고 있는 그는 미국에 기반을 두었던 Crocus Energy를 창립하기도 했다.

현재 기획재정부 신성장전략기획추진단장으로, AI, UAM, 자율주행 등 미래산업을 육성하는 ‘신성장4.0 전략’ 추진을 총괄하고 있다. 행정고시 40회로, 1998년 기획재정부(당시 재정경제원)에서 공직을 시작해 경제정책국 자금시장과장, 경제분석과장, 종합정책과장, 금융현안대응반장 등을 역임하였으며, 거시경제정책 및 금융분야에 정통한 경제정책 전문가이다. 2019년부터 2022년까지 IDB Invest (미주투자공사) 선임전략기획관으로 근무하며 중남미 민간부문 개발 프로젝트 및 기업지원전략 기획업무를 담당하였다.

Jaesik Choi

Associate Professor of KAIST KimJaechulGSAI / CEO of INEEJI

Professor Jaesik Choi graduated from Seoul National University’s Department of Computer Engineering and obtained a master’s and doctorate degree in computer science from Urbana-Champagne at the University of Illinois in the U.S.
The artificial intelligence model developed with a research team from the Ulsan Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST) was applied to the “POSCO Smart Furnace” and was selected as the first deep learning technology in Korea for the 2019 National Key Technology and World Economic Forum (WEF). In recognition ofhis contribution to the development of AI technology in Korea, he was awarded the Prime Minister’s Commendation and established an artificial intelligence company called INEEJI.
In addition, 12 films, including the top 5 JCR 10% over the past decade, have been published, and 24 have been published to the highest-level AI society in the field of artificial intelligence.
Representatively, he served as the head of the KAIST Explanable Artificial Intelligence Research Center, technically supported Korea to propose and lead the world’s first explainable artificial intelligence standard, and contributed to the application of technology developed through active international exchange activities with DARPA.

Joshua(Jewook) Oh

CEO, dob Studio Inc.

As CEO of dob Studio, he developed Rui, a virtual influencer who is a public relations ambassador for the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization. dob Studio has been developing AI-based virtual face graphic technology and producing various digital contents. Especially by restoring the face of actress Youn Yuh-jung in his twenties, KPOP star Lim Yoon-taek, and Major Park Incheol who passed 16 years, dob is getting a lot of attention in the marketing, content, and broadcasting industry. Joshua was in charge of new business development at LX International, Golfzon, and SBS Content Hub, and participated in co-production of Chinese versions of popular TV entertainment programs such as <Running man>, <People who asks laugh>, and <Mate>. Joshua obtained a master’s degree in Global Hallyu Business from The Catholic University of Korea and worked as a mentor for a number of startups and YouTubers.

Youngin Kim

Dr. Youngin Kim is the founder and CEO of Gazilab a wellness curation platform. Dr. Kim is also an associate professor of Yonsei University College of Medicine, Department of Biomedical Systems Informatics. After graduating Yonsei University College of Medicine, Dr. Kim was one of the executive board members of Korea Medical Association. Dr. Kim worked at global digital healthcare company Noom for 7 years as medical director and country manager of Noom Korea and Japan.

Seongji Kang

CEO & Medical Doctor, WELT Corp.

Dr. Seong-ji Kang graduated from Yonsei University College of Medicine. He worked as a public health doctor at the Health Policy Department of the Ministry of Health and Welfare from 2009 to 2012, and served as the Healthcare group of Samsung Electronics from 2014 to 2016. Now, he is CEO of WELT corp. the company succeeded in developing PILLow Rx which is Digital therapeutics for insomnia got approval from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety in April 2023.

Dooah Choi

CEO, Huraypositive Inc.

Dooah Choi is founder and CEO of Huray Positive, a digital healthcare startup focused on developing PHR(Personal Health Record) service platform and diverse digital healthcare software. Since founding the most disruptive company in 2010, he has been pioneering new healthcare area with digital innovation for 14 years.
Prior to founding Huray Positive, Dooah was a team leader at Naver, one of the biggest search service companies in South Korea. He was responsible for product management, go-to-market strategies in various search products from 2007 to 2010.
Dooah Choi is also serving as a member of government healthcare committee including Ministry of Health and Welfare, Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy, Ministry of Science and ICT.

Hwalsuk Lee

CTO, Upstage

Hwalsuk Lee is a co-founder and Chief Technology Officer(CTO) at Upstage. He is a globally renowned expert in Computer Vision & AI, with numerous papers on AI OCR technology recognized at numerous major international AI conferences. Before joining Upstage in 2020, Hwalsuk led Naver Clova’s Visual AI Team, overseeing the construction of the OCR team and implementation of technology. Prior to that, he worked as AI Researcher at NCSOFT AI Center AI Lab Vision TF and at the Vision Technology Group of Hanwha Techwin. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology(KAIST).

Jongho Hong

Professor, Seoul National University Graduate School of Environmental Studies

Jongho Hong is a Professor of Economics and former Dean of the Graduate School of Environmental Studies at Seoul National University (SNU). His teaching and research are focused on environmental/energy economics and sustainable economy and policy. His involvement within the school extends to serving as the former Director of the Environmental Planning Institute and the Institute for Sustainable Development.
After receiving his PhD from Cornell University, he held research and academic positions at Korea Development Institute(KDI) and Hanyang University in Korea. He also has broad experiences working as a consultant for international organizations, such as the World Bank and Asian Development Bank. He has previously served as the President of the Asian Association of Environmental and Resource Economics(AAERE), Korea Environmental Economics Association and Korean Association of Public Finance. He is also devoted to activities related to environmental groups, serving as a Co-President of the Korean Federation for Environmental Movement.
Currently, he serves as Chairman of the Energy Transition Forum of Korea.

David Kuhwan Kim

CEO & Founder, Gridwiz

David Kuhwan Kim is the CEO and founder of Gridwiz.
Prior to starting Gridwiz in 2013, Kim served as a general manager of strategic planning at ILJIN Electric and headed the US operations of WIZnet Technology, buildin g his career as a technology specialist in Korea and abroad.
Standing on his 25+ years of experience in the energy industry, Kim founded Crocus Energy, a US based company, and is currently leading Gridwiz by leveraging his management expertise.
David Kuh wan Kim is also serving on a variety of policy organizations to help drive Korea’s energy transition in his capacity as an energy expert.

Byungjoon Yoo

Professor, Seoul National University Graduate School of Business

Byungjoon Yoo is working at Graduate School of Business of Seoul National University as a professor. Before he joined SNU, he worked at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. His research interests are on e-commerce and digital transformation. He is working with Korea Digital Platform Committee, Presidential Committee of Korean Cohesion, National Economic Advisory Council and many Korean internet companies such as Naver, Kakao, Coupang.

Chaesub Lee

Former TSB Director, International Telecommunication Union Telecom Standard Bureau

Dr. Lee was elected officer of the ITU (International Telecommunication Union: UN special agent on ICT development) since 2015 until 2022. Dr. Lee has been served as a Director of Telecommunication Standardization Bureau in the ITU responsible of ICT related technical standards development. He involved in the telecommunication and ICT standardization field for 35 years (since 1987), such as ICT infrastructures (networks and systems), services and applications (e.g., IPTV, multimedia codecs), IoTs (Internet of Things), cloud computing and AI/ML.
As a Director of TSB, he led various initiatives such as AI for Good summit (UN and Private communities involved AI summit), Smart Sustainable City and Communities, DFS/DFC (Digital Financial Service / Digital Fiat Currency), Quantum based networks/security and so on. He encourages “ICT based innovations and Digital Transformation” to help people need special assistance, developing members, LDCs (Least Developing Countries), Islands and land lock country members.
Dr. Lee has held roles at Korea Telecom, the Electronic and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI) the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), and the Korean Ministry, ICT and Future Planning (MSIP).

Hoanuk Joo

Director General, Ministry of Economy and Finance Office for New Growth Strategy

Mr. Joo holds the position of Director General at the Office for New Growth Strategy within the Korean Ministry of Economy and Finance (MOEF). He oversees the strategic planning and execution of Korea’s New Growth 4.0 Strategy, a national initiative aimed at fostering emerging industries such as AI, UAM (Urban Air Mobility) and autonomous driving. With a tenure spanning 26 years since 1998, Mr. Joo has maintained an extensive career within the MOEF, predominantly focusing on financial markets and economic planning. Notably, he has served as Director of Financial Market Division, Economic Analysis Division, Economic Policy Division and Head of Financial Risk Response TF. Additionally, from 2019 to 2022, Mr. Joo held the role of Strategy, Programming & Innovation Lead officer at the IDB (Inter-American Development Bank) Invest, the private sector arm of the IDB Group.

Sungjin Choi

CEO, Korea Startup Forum

Sungjin Choi is the Executive Director at Korea Startup Forum, the biggest startup membership organization in South Korea with over 2,100 startup members. He plays a significant role in Korea’s startup scene to build a startup-friendly business environment and help startups grow and scale up. Being recognized for his contributions to the growth of startup ecosystem in Korea, he was rewarded the highest government medal in 2020 and won the commendation from the Ministry of SMEs and Startups in 2019 and 2021.
He also participates in and leads various committees of both public and private entities to help vitalize the startup ecosystem. He is an advisory board member of C-Lab, Samsung Electronics’ startup acceleration program, SSAFY (Samsung Software Academy for the Youth), Kakao Mobility, the committee for AI Legislative Group at the Ministry of Science and ICT, and Privacy regulation committee at the Personal Information Protection Commision.
He has extensive experience in the internet-based business through his various roles such as the head of external affairs, strategy development lead and chief of the marketing strategy team, etc at Daum Communications(KAKAO), where he worked for seven years from 2002. He also served as the Secretary-General of the Korea Internet Corporations Association, whose membership includes major big ICT companies in Korea from 2010 to 2018.

Kyunghee Choi

Kyunghee Choi works for the investment team at Sopoong Ventures as an accelerator and an investor, focusing on early startups in the field of climate tech, AI and SaaS. Previously, she co-founded Tutoring, an edutech startup. Sopoong Ventures is a social impact investor, specialized in climate tech, and currently has 120 portfolios.

Jeonghee Ha

Managing Director, Shinhan Venture Investment

Jeonghee Ha is Managing Director at Shinhan Venture Investment. She is responsible for $220M venture capital fund, which was launched to invest in startups that could help digital transformation of Shinhan Financial Group.
Jeonghee Ha developed her business acumen and learned how to strike a balance between strategy and execution while working in various industry areas. Prior to joining Shinhan, she worked at Intel, Boston Consulting Group, Samsung Electronics, Microsoft, and D3 Jubilee Partners. Sookyoung Won joined the LG Electronics Platform Business Center recently(2023) to set the direction for AI services in Smart Home and try to implement them quickly.
Before joining LG Electronics, she designed Voice UX for NUGU, Korea’s first artificial intelligence service & platform, at SK Telecom from 2016. An then she moved to AIRS(AI Research & Service) company at Hyundai Motor Company as an AI Service Group leader in 2019, leading service planning and UX/UI design for a Car AI Assistant, a CS Chatbot, and a next-generation PBV infotainment system project.

Jongkyu Kim

CEO, 60 Hertz

Jongkyu Kim is CEO and founder of 60 Hertz, a social venture that responds to the climate crisis with IT technology and services. In 2021, he and colleagues developed a “Renewable Map” that shows more than 80,000 PV and wind farms in South Korea. The service provides day-ahead energy forecasting using AI, and the company received a presidential award in open data usage and a prime minister award in a nationwide social venture competition.

Henry O’Connell

Henry is Green Li-ion’s Head of Strategic Finance, responsible for Green Li-ion’s financial planning and analysis, it’s commercial pricing and economic models and its investor relations/fundraising strategy. Green Li-ion is a early stage li-ion battery recycling start-up based in Singapore that develops technology to process spent battery material (black mass) into recycled battery materials for re-use in new battery applications.
Henry joined Green Li-ion from Tesla, where he worked for 5 years in Tesla’s European headquarters in Amsterdam, in a variety of roles covering sales planning/strategy and finance. In his final role at Tesla, he led Tesla’s European Automotive Sales Finance team, which was responsible for managing Tesla’s automotive P&L across the 28 markets within which Tesla operated within the EMEA region.
